The children of Warrenton Baptist Tiny Tots celebrated the Fourth of July a day early with Town Councilman Renard Carlos (at large) and his wife Lea. The group paraded down the sidewalk on Main Street in Warrenton. (Safety first!)
Tomorrow, Families4Fauquier will host the annual Fourth of July Parade in Old Town Warrenton at 10 a.m. Children (with or without human-powered vehicles) and their pets will be participating. No motorized vehicles, other than law enforcement, will be participating. Uncle Sam and Mayor Carter Nevill will lead the parade and will be escorted by a police department vehicle. Fauquier High School's band, which will be stationed near the General District Court, will play music throughout the event.
