Warrenton Presbyterian Church (WPC) has announced that it will be holding virtual worship services indefinitely at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 22 as the nation continues to search for the most responsible ways to confront the COVID-19 virus.

Services will be available on the church website:  https://livestream.com/wpcva and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WarrentonPresbyterianChurch/.

Pastor Jim Lunde said: “There are no easy answers at this point.  The faith community must do its part both to serve the spiritual needs of its members and to assist in minimizing the damage this pandemic threatens to produce.  WPC joins with other churches in our community in deciding to suspend worship in our sanctuary for the foreseeable future.”

He continued: “We invite all who are seeking a worship experience to participate in our online services.  With a faith and trust in a loving God, we look to the future with a confidence we will endure this difficult time.”

In addition to Sunday worship, Pastor Lunde announced that each Wednesday at 9 a.m., there will be an additional opportunity for worship and fellowship via Facebook (same link as above).  He will lead a period of prayer and reflection at this time.
