Grace Episcopal Church and St. Andrews Independent Catholic Church of Casanova, Virginia, present our 9th "Annual" Chili Cook-Off. It will be held March 6, 2021.

Rise Against Hunger and our churches will be having our Food Packaging Event Oct. 3, 2020 at The Grace Episcopal Parish Hall in Casanova. We will be collecting non-perishable food for our community at the event.

At our Spring 2021 Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser, we will also collect food for our community. All raffle tickets purchased for our previous fundraiser will be honored at the 2021 Chili Cook-Off. Thank you to our sponsors: Vallies Vintage Jewelry, Moo Thru, Powers Farm & Brewery, The Galloping Grape, and Griolis Italian Bistro.

Though the 2020 Chili Cook-Off has been canceled, our Food Packaging Event is on for this fall. In just a few hours on Saturday, Oct. 3, working with our community and Rise Against Hunger we will package over 15,000 non-perishable meals which will feed people all over the world.  We will work together with Rise Against Hunger to ensure that the packing event will comply with social distancing and sanitary requirements in effect at that time. This is a fun community event. Any groups or individuals wanting to help pack meals on that day, please contact Cheryl Berry (540-270-5203 or to join in.  We will need several people who are able to lift 50-pound bags early and throughout the day.

Thank you to the community of Casanova for always making our fundraising event a success.

We look forward to seeing you on Oct. 3, 2020, for the packaging event with Rise Against Hunger and on March 6, 2021, for the 9th “Annual” Chili Cook-Off.
