Celebrate National Pollinator Week at Blandy with the grand opening of a bee habitat wall and new plantings and interpretive signs in the Pollination Garden Friday, June 21, from 3-5 p.m. This is a FREE program appropriate for the entire family.
The bee wall provides habitat for cavity-nesting bees and features an observation window to see the bees' nests.
We will also visit the newly renovated Pollination Garden, with a series of new interpretive signs featuring plantings designed for specific types of pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, moths, and flies.
Although this program is free, registration is requested. Register online anytime at blandy.virginia.edu or by phone at  540-837-1758 Ext. 224, Monday to Friday, 1-5 p.m.
