How to Create Stability in Your Organization

As with any business, nonprofits are more effective when they are able to create stability in leadership and structure. Board members add to a foundation of success by serving as support for the organization now and guiding the organization into the future.

Board members attending this workshop will:

-Identify stages of the nonprofit life cycle

-Create a board building strategy

-Learn how to efficiently structure the board’s work Target Audience: Current and potential board members as well as executive directors. Program attendance is complimentary for board, staff and volunteers of organizations operating within the PATH Foundation service area (northern Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties). For participants from other organizations, a $25 charge applies.
