Harry Clement Clayton, salesman

Harry Clement Clayton, 80, of Culpeper, died Oct. 18 at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Rushville, Va., on June 11, 1928, to Jacob Wilbert Clayton and Edna Rutherford Clayton.

Mr. Clayton served his country in the U.S. Navy and retired from Carnation Foods as a salesman.

Preceding him in death were his parents and siblings Kathryn Taylor, Alice Brown, Tommy Clayton, Woodrow Clayton and Ruth McDonaldson.

Surviving are his wife, Katheryn Clayton; his son, Harry Clement Clayton Jr.; and three grandchildren, all of Culpeper.

Also surviving is his sister, Doris Clayton of Harrisonburg.

All funeral services are private.
