Marguerite N. Belcher, Fauquier native
Marguerite Nickens Belcher, 84, of Nokesville, died Oct. 19 at her home. She was born June 20, 1924, in Fauquier County to the late Frederick and Nannie Colvin Nickens.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Belcher; and a son and daughter, Tommy and Dorothy Dowell.
Mrs. Belcher is survived by two daughters, Deborah Belcher-Babb of Nokesville and Beverly Belcher-Grant of Silver Spring, Md.; one son, Michael Belcher of Frederick, Md.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Little Zion Baptist Church, 7600 Greenville Road, Nokesville (Greenville community), on Friday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service begins at noon. Interment will be at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
