Gwendolyn Rebecca Taylor-Smoot, Bealeton resident

Gwendolyn Rebecca Taylor-Smoot, 70, died May 9 at her home in Bealeton. She was born Nov. 16, 1937.

Survivors include her husband, Audrey Smoot of Bealeton; two sons, Turner Yates of Bealeton and Thomas Yates of Midland; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Joynes Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, May 14, at First Springs Baptist Church, 9307 Springs Road, Warrenton. The Rev. Gillison L. Wanser will officiate. Interment arrangements were to be announced.
