Janet D. Borecky, A&P cashier

Janet Delores Borecky, 78, of Manassas, died May 7 at Prince William Hospital. She was born in Rockingham County, Va., on Feb. 27, 1930.

She retired from A&P Grocery, where she had been a cashier for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel V. Gallery III; two sons; Wesley R. Furr of Keedysville, Md., and Charles E. Borecky of Glastonbury, Conn.; and four grandchildren.

Also surviving are a sister, Betty McCormick of Gore, Va., and a brother, Robert Kennedy of Warrenton.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. Graveside services will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
