Valerie L. Jones, Amissville resident

Valerie L. Jones, a 40-year resident of Amissville, died May 4 at Fauquier Hospital.

She was born Aug. 13, 1941, in San Diego, Calif., then moved to Wisconsin in her teen years and subsequently to Virginia.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 45 years, D. L. Jones; her daughters, Courtney Lee Poland of Midland and Camilla Anne Corn of Chula Vista, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Also surviving are her mother, Myrna L. Harrison, and a sister, Victoria A. Edgington, both of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; and a brother, Chester J. Harrison Jr. of Gagen, Minn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Rapidan, PO Box 1715, Culpeper VA 22701.

Arrangements were by Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton.
