Eleanor Loretta Weden, Buffalo, N.Y., native
Eleanor Loretta Weden, 89, died May 3 at Sudley Manor House in Manassas. She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Raymond and Veronica Kaspryzk Kownacki.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Warrenton.
Mrs. Weden was predeceased by her husband, William John Weden, and her brother, Frank Kownacki.
Survivors include three sons, Matt Weden of Gainesville, Chris Weden of Gainesville, and Mark Weden of Huntsville, Ala.; three grandsons, and two stepgrandsons.
Also surviving is a sister, Delores Petrasek of Springfield, Va.
The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, on Tuesday, May 6, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8213 Linton Hall Road, Gainesville, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, with the Rev. Jerry Wooton officiating. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 8.
