Friday, Jan. 10 | By Mark Grandstaff | Google+
Warrenton police arrested a man they say followed a woman into her home in the Leeds Square neighborhood and stole her purse.

Marvin Andrew Mudd, 20, of Culpeper, Virginia was arrested Friday and charged with entering a dwelling to commit robbery. He is held without bond at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center, according to a release from Warrenton Sgt. George Southard.

Two days ago, police said a man followed the woman into her home, displayed a gun and demanded money.

Town police are still investigating the robbery and say they will not release further information about the incident.
