Two four-wheelers taken and damaged, gun stolen, thousands lost in credit card fraud

Larceny/Fraud:

On June 9 in the 5100 block of Red Cedar Road, Sumerduck, a resident was reportedly the victim of internet fraud. Loss is estimated at $2,350. Investigation continues.

On June 9 in the 4300 block of Ringwood Road, Nokesville, multiple purchases were reportedly made on a victim’s debit card. Loss is estimated at $263.90.

On June 11 in the 11000 block of Putnams Mill Rd, Hume, an unsecured mower was reportedly taken from the victim's property. Loss is estimated at $800.

On June 11 a complainant came to the Sheriff’s office to report an unauthorized ATM cash withdraw from their bank account. Loss is estimated at $500.

On June 12 in the 14000 block of Comer Lane, Sumerduck, a firearm was reportedly stolen from the victim's home. Loss is estimated at $100. Investigation continues.

Destruction of Property:
On June 11 in the 3300 block of Catlett Road, Catlett, two four-wheelers were reportedly taken from a victim’s property and damaged. Loss is estimated at $1,450.

On June 13 in the 4200 block of Frost St, Marshall, a victim’s two tires were reportedly slashed while the vehicle was parked at home. Loss is estimated at $250. Investigation continues.

Traffic Accidents:
On June 9, near the intersection of James Madison Hwy and Alwington Blvd, a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

On June 10 in the 200 block of Jefferson St., a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

On June 11 near the intersection of Marsh Road and Catlett Road a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. One injury was reported.

On June 12 near the intersection of Lee Hwy and Vint Hill Road, a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.
