Sheriff’s office crime log for the week of May 26 to June 1

Larceny/Fraud:

On May 26 in the 7800 block of Cub Dr, Marshall, four large planters were reportedly taken. Loss is estimated at $400.

On May 27 in the 3500 block of Rivenoak Lane, Goldvein, a metal rifle target was reportedly taken. Loss is estimated at $200.

On May 29 in the 9300 block of Springs Road, Warrenton, a package containing a 12-inch Zirconium bar of metal was reportedly taken from homeowner’s front porch. Loss is estimated at $300. Investigation continues.

On May 31 in the 3600 block of Grove Lane, Delaplane, a bicycle was reportedly taken from the carrier which was attached to the victim’s vehicle. Loss is estimated at $800.

Destruction of Property:

On May 27 in the 700 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, a vehicle bumper was reportedly damaged in a parking lot. Loss is estimated at $200.

On May 30 in the 6100 block of Willow Place, Bealeton, a vehicle was reportedly sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Loss is estimated at $20.00

On May 31, in the 6500 block of Lancaster Dr., Warrenton, a mailbox door was reportedly damaged. Loss is estimated at $70.

On June 1, in the 4400 block of Winchester Rd, Marshall, a dirt bike had been reportedly tampered with. Loss is estimated at $600. Investigation continues.

Traffic Accidents:

On May 26, in the 8200 block of Burwell Road, Catlett, a traffic accident was reported involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

On May 28, in the 5300 block of Balls Mill Road, Midland, a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

On May 30, in the area of Meetze Road and Catlett Road, Midland, a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

On May 31, in the 9700 block of James Madison Hwy, Warrenton, a traffic accident was reported involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.
