Sheriff’s office crime log for the week of Mar. 10 to Mar. 16

Larceny/Fraud:

On Mar. 11, in the 4200 block of Old Calverton Road, Catlett, a complainant reported copper wire stolen from a cell phone tower site. Loss is estimated at $2,500. Investigation continues.

On Mar. 11, in the 10000 block of Old Marsh Road., Bealeton, a complainant reported a welder and a mechanics chair taken from a residential carport. Loss is estimated at $863. Two weeks earlier a welder was taken from the same residence. Investigation continues.

On Mar. 12, in the 6600 block of Clarkes Meadow Dr., Warrenton, a complainant reported theft. Victim of a wire fraud scam sustained a loss of $1,381.

On Mar. 14, in the 300 block of North Rappahannock St., Remington, a complainant reported fraud. Victim of credit card fraud totaling $112.

Destruction of Property:

On Mar. 13, in the 3300 block of Turner Mountain Road, The Plains, a complainant reported two kitchen windows damaged. Damage is reported at $400.

On Mar. 15, 2014 in the 5700 block of Hunt Ridge Ct., Broad Run a complainant reported exterior Christmas lights cut in multiple places. Damage is reported at $1,000.
