Following their first two-match winning streak of the girls tennis season, the Wakefield Owls lost to undefeated Foxcroft, 7-0, Saturday on the road in Middleburg.
Wakefield’s record fell to 4-6 overall, but its 4-5 record in the Delaney Athletic Conference was good enough to earn a home match Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the DAC tournament against the Highland Hawks.
