Wednesday, Mar. 12 | By Jeff Malmgren
The Highland Hawks began the 2014 girls soccer season Tuesday with a 4-1 loss to Trinity Christian on the road in Fairfax.

Freshman Annie Pendleton scored the lone goal for Highland (0-1 overall, 0-1 Delaney Athletic Conference) on an assist from freshman Stefanie Hoerner.

“We lacked intensity in the first half and battled back in the second half despite some injuries,” Hawks coach Reynolds Oare said.
