Manassas man crashes into tree on Sunday

A single vehicle accident left a man trapped in his car.

Last Sunday, Jason Bolt, 22, of Manassas, was driving down Catlett Road when he ran his 2001 Lincoln Towncar off the right side of the road and struck a tree head on, according to Col. Paul Mercer with the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office.

Bolt was trapped in the vehicle, his legs pinned by the dashboard. Catlett and Warrenton Fire Departments helped in getting the man out of his car, according to Warrenton Fire Department's website.

He was transported to Fauquier Hospital, and charged with failure to maintain control of the vehicle.
