Two Lord Fairfax Community College Fauquier Campus students were recently awarded with educational scholarships from the Warrenton Rotary Club.
Students Candace Weitz and Kaitlyn Gray received the news about their scholarships at a recent Rotary Club meeting from co-chairs of the club's scholarship committee, Eric Graap and Trey Austin. The scholarship awards will be applied towards tuition, books, and other educational fees for the students.
Weitz is working towards a teaching degree at LFCC in hopes of becoming a pre-school special education teacher in Fauquier County. “The scholarship awarded by the Rotary Club is greatly appreciated,” said Weitz in a press release.
