Sophomore Reni Moshos was named Female Swimmer of the Meet after helping the Highland Hawks place fourth out of eight teams at the Delaney Athletic Conference championships Saturday at Satin Michael’s School.

Moshos won the girls 200-meter individual medley and 100 breaststroke, setting a DAC record in the 200 with a time of 2 minutes, 7.09 seconds. Nick Kulick won the boys 200 freestyle, while Cameron Smith placed third in the boys 100 backstroke and Josh Lutz took third in the boys 50 freestyle.

In the relays, Lutz, Kulick, Caleb McGuire, Preston Mulford and Smith combined to place third in the boys 200 and 400 free. They qualified for the VISAA state championship meet in both events, as well as the 200 medley relay.

Moshos, Marissa Ray, MC Treuting, Cassie Schaan and Julia Massimiano qualified for state in the girls 200 medley. State will be Feb. 14-15 at the Freedom Center.
