The Fauquier Falcons won eight events at the Conference 22 indoor track meet Saturday in Warrenton, while the Liberty Eagles won four.

Fauquier finished second out of three teams in the boys standings with 50.5 points and second in the girls standings with 41.5 points. The King George boys won with 66, while Liberty took third with 38.5. The King George girls won with 98.5 and the Eagles finished third with 16.

Liberty’s Anthony Spagnoletti led all local athletes with a pair of victories. He won the long jump with a mark of 19 feet, 0.5 inches and won the triple jump in 39-7.

Fauquier’s Donavin Thompson won the 500-meter run in 1 minute, 8.33 seconds, while Tiana Yates won the 55 (7.86), Dominique Johnson won the shot put (37-6.5), Tyler Benson won the 300 (37.45), Raul Chavez won the 1,000 (2:43.50) and Zach Evans won the shot put (41-6.75). In the relays, Fauquier won the girls 800 (1:53.63), 1,600 (4:25.59) and 3,200 (10:39.87).

Liberty’s Jaquela Smith won the high jump (4-08) and Eric Stiggle won the 55 hurdles (8.52)
