Fauquier crime log for Feb. 3 to 9
The Fauquier County Sheriff's Office are investigating several instances of damaged property in the Marshall and Hume areas last week.
On Feb. 4:
A mailbox was damaged in the 10300 block of Post Oak Court in Marshall for an estimated loss of $30.
Another mailbox was damaged and pulled from its post in the 9400 block of Ramey Road, a loss of $100.
Another mailbox was damaged in the same block of Ramey Road, a loss of $30.
On Feb. 7:
The windows of a vehicle were smashed out while parked in the 11600 block of Hume Road in Hume, an estimated loss of $550.
The windows of another vehicle were broken in the 10300 block of Twisted Oak Lane in Marshall with an estimated loss of $250.
Another vehicle's windows were broken while parked in the 10400 block of Hume Road near Marshall, with a loss of $1,000.
On Feb. 3, two county school buses in the 7200 block of Riley Road near Warrenton were damaged by a discharged fire extinguisher, an estimated loss of $200. Investigation continues.
