Friday, Mar. 8 | By Steve Campbell
Colanders for hats and spoons for mics, Cedar Lee Middle School staff members bring an anti-bullying message to the community.
Goofy star power.
The staff of Cedar Lee Middle School in Bealeton created a hilarious video with an important anti-bullying message and posted it on YouTube.

The video, "Lend a hand, take a stand," begins with words scrolling "Star Wars" style."

"Bullying occurs in many forms, but if you follow our lead you can help eliminate its presence in our school community forever..." the video begins.

Next a series of shots feature teachers and other staff members lip syncing and dancing to popular songs such as One Direction's "What Makes You Different," Pink's "Perfect and "I'm Different" by 2 Chainz.

In between, scenes words carry the message that everyone is different and valued.

In the Cedar Lee video, the staff members dance, wear goofy props, such as over-sized sunglasses, all the while hamming it up for the camera.

Even the cafeteria ladies get in on the act.

The 10-minute video ends with the message: "We only got one world. Help make Cedar Lee bully free."
