The Highland Hawks remain undefeated in the Delaney Athletic Conference after beating Quantico, 12-2, Wednesday in five innings via mercy rule at home in Warrenton.

Highland "capitalized on patience at the plate, drawing many walks mixed in [with] some timely hits," said Hawks coach Micah Higgins, whose team is 5-0 in the DAC and 7-2 overall.

Mark Terrell led Highland with four RBIs and a double on 2-for-3 hitting, while Matt Kelly went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, three runs a stolen base and a double.

Pitcher Tyler Zimmerman improved his record to 3-0 by allowing one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out seven over three innings. Evan Finley threw the final two innings, allowing one unearned run on zero hits and one walk while striking out three.
