Taylor Middle
The National Junior Honor Society Meeting is May 27 for seventh- and eighth-grade members until 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Congratulations to the newest members of the Roaring Tigers: Samantha Ballard, Sophie Byvik, Dylan Walling, Mandy Ingram, Hunter Hall and Boone Arnold. Thank you for making Taylor Middle School a wonderful place to be.
The Taylor Middle School Chorus will be performing "Seussical, Jr." at 7 p.m. June 6-7 in the TMS auditorium. Tickets are $5 for child/student (up to high school) and $7 for adults at the door.
Interims went home with students on Tuesday, May 12.
Warrenton Middle
The National Junior Honor Society will sponsor a donut sale on May 20. The Colossal Donuts will be sold for $1 each during homeroom. Juice boxes will be available for 50 cents each.
The Music Department is working hard to get ready for their spring concerts. The Chorus Spring Concert is May 27, the band concert is June 3 and the orchestra is scheduled for June 2.
Reminder: All library books need to be returned by June 5.
Fauquier High
Any student interested in running for SCA or class office should pick up an application in Main Office or Annex Office from Monday, May 18, through Tuesday, May 26. All applications are due Wednesday, May 27. Students interested in running for office must attend a mandatory meeting on Friday, May 29, immediately after school to go over what they can and can not do during campaigning. Campaigning for office will be Monday, June 1, through Thursday, June 4. Elections will take place June 5.
Any student who does not want to be a class officer, but is interested in applying to be a SCA Executive Council member should pick up an application in the Main Office or Annex Office from Monday, May 18, through Tuesday, May 26. All applications are due Wednesday, May 27.
Liberty High
Graduation will be held at the Nissan Pavilion on Friday, June 12, beginning at 4 p.m. All parents, siblings, relatives, and family friends are invited. There is ample parking at Nissan Pavilion and it is handicap accessible.

Highland
The annual golf tournament, is Friday, May 22, at Fauquier Springs Country Club. Registration is at 8 a.m., and shotgun start is at 9:30 a.m. E-mail Gary Leake for more information.
Volunteers are always needed on the day of the tournament. If you are interested in lending a hand, please e-mail Briar Bogin. Thank you in advance for your time.
On Thursday, May 14, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" opened with a morning matinee (9:45 a.m.), followed by Friday and Saturday evening performances at 7 p.m. This will be a fun show with acting, singing, and dancing by about 25 Middle School students, set design and construction by Upper School students, and an original composition by senior Will Mackie-Jenkins for this occasion. The performances are free to all, hope to see you there.
Wakefield
Summer Camp offerings and registration are available online at www.wakefieldschool.org under "Campus Life."
Varsity sports are competing in state competitions this week.
Mark the calendars:
• "Romeo and Juliet" will be performed Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22, at 7 p.m. each evening in the Lower Gym. The community is welcomed to attend.
• Pre-school, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Play Day is Sunday, May 17, from 2-4 p.m. Moon bounce, games for the children, and a chance for parents to learn more about Wakefield School.
• Junior/Senior Prom, Saturday, May 16, 7:30 p.m.
Wakefield Country Day
The Spring Sports Award Banquet is scheduled for Friday, May 15. Wakefield CDS athletes will be honored for their participation in the spring sports schedule. The event starts at 7 p.m., and a potluck dessert and beverage array follows the ceremony.
Wakefield's intramural field day athletic competitions will take place on two separate days in May. The preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes will enjoy their games on May 18 with activities such as bean bag toss and relay races. Grades 1-12 will compete in more advanced endeavors on May 22. The student body will be split into two teams, the Athenians and the Spartans, and will compete in activities such as relay races, soccer, and "capture the flag." Many parental volunteers help to make the day a fun success.
The eighth-grade recital will be on Friday, May 22, after Field Day. The eighth-grade class will perform both a comedy and a tragedy in the style of the ancient Greeks. Enjoy music and Greek food, catered by It's About Thyme, during the intermission. The cost of a full authentic Greek dinner is $10. For those not wanting an entire meal, smaller appetizer plates will be available for $5. The performance is outdoors and will begin at 5 p.m. The community is invited to attend.
