Missing TeenFound in New Mexico
According to the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office, Ellerie Williamson, 16, has been found and is in custody in Albuquerque, N.M.
Ellerie had been missing since March 20, according to her mother Martha Williamson. The teen, who is a junior at Wakefield School in The Plains, apparently left home sometime between 2 a.m and 6 a.m.
Martha Williamson said her daughter apparently left with Kyle Ballard, 18.
Ballard had traveled to Fauquier County from Winslow, Ariz., to meet Ellerie, Martha Williamson said. The two were introduced by a friend of a friend and developed a relationship over the Internet during the past two to three yeas.
Ellerie and Ballard had never met in person until he came here, Martha Williamson said.
The family did not know Ballard planned to come here, she added.
“We were extremely concerned for Ellerie's safety,” she said. “She is very trusting and naive. She is very vulnerable with this person.”
