Judge sets bond for accused wrestling coach
About 75 people showed up at Fauquier County Circuit Court to show support for Hurst.
Judge Jeffrey W. Parker set bond at $15,000.
See this week's (June 5) Fauquier Times-Democrat Weekend Edition for the complete story.

I have known Bryan for 10 years and I have always known him to be an outstanding young man. He has contributed so much to the community in so many ways I wish to thank him. He has advanced the quality of wrestling in our area and he deserves all our support we have to offer. He has always been there for us and our children it’s now our turn to be there for him. He coached my youngest son and we think the world of him. Bryan has never failed to stop, talk and make the people around him feel at home and part of his family. Bryan, you are my friend and I wish you all the best.

Bryan is a son, a brother, an uncle, a coach, a mentor & a friend - He has been accused...He has not been found guilty.
This has left a family, a team, friends and a community full of sorrow & confusion. Emotions are running high and feelings are intense.
Harsh words are being said...but so are words of LOVE, SUPPORT & FRIENDSHIP.
I believe we can focus on our ability to love and support - to be a family, a team, friends and a community that shows our caring, just and loving side.
Bryan needs and deserves that - we all need that.

A lot of people are wagering their names on Hurst's innocence. In an time where virtual anonymity is cheap (see my username), that's impressive. There must be something behind these affirmations of Hurst's honor.
But, why did the GJ indict Hurst? What evidence has been brought to bear? I wouldn't think that you could get indicted on a felony charge in a he said . . . eh . . . he said situation.

'rent',
you wouldn't think, huh?... well it happens all the time and the reason usually points back to one of a handful of things.. including a lying victim, a victim with mental issues, an overzealous prosecution, the accused's reputation (read 'popularity') in the local community, or any combination thereof. you sound like you're suggesting that our law enforcement system is anywhere near close to perfect? please, come back to reality.
it seems your comments here were aimed more at getting attention, as indicated by your half-witted attempt to make light of the situation, than at offering anything of value to a tragic situation where an innocent person has obviously and undoubtedly been wrongly accused.
And fyi, there's no wagers going on when it comes to Hurst's innocence, it's about character and integrity and any one of the people on here or who know him would tell you their name in a second to back his name, if that actually mattered.
The responsibility now rests with the accuser to prove their case, and judging from the information at hand to date, there are already serious issues with the credibility of the accuser, the mental capacity of the accuser and the elapsed time from the supposed incident. Put that up against Hurst's credibility, background and track record is all those of us who know him have to say.

Rent,
Bryan knows who each person is who posted a comment, isn't that what matters?
It's not wise to post names on a public website, that's why you create a user name.
If it does comes down to Bryan needing character witnesses, I can assure you that he'll have a whole bunch more than you will ever be able to muster Mr. Rent.
