Introducing Noah's Ark Thrift Store

Community Touch, Inc. is proud to introduce Noah's Ark Thrift Store. The grand opening will be Sept. 6.

Noah's Ark will have quality furniture and household items available to the general public for a donation while continuing to give free donated goods to qualified low-income individuals who need assistance. Participating community service agencies will have vouchers for those who have a true need for the inventory of donated goods.

Initially, the hours of operation are 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays.

Fauquier Baptist kicks off Western Days

Western Days (cowboy church) will begin Sunday, Sept. 7, in the 11 a.m. service at Fauquier Baptist Church, 10550 James Madison Highway, Bealeton.

Not just for working cowboys and cowgirls, it's for all farm folks, those stuck in the the city, and anyone who loves the country life.

Stetsons, boots, western wear are OK and there's plenty of parking for cars and trucks.

All are invited. There will be special music and preaching that upholds the Word of God.

Special music Sept. 6 at First Springs

The Senior Choir of First Springs Baptist Church will host the Gospel Tones Male Chorus of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Rectortown, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.

Liberty launches fall season of Sunday School

On Sept. 7, Liberty United Methodist launches it's fall season with a fully staffed children's Sunday School, with pre-K through kindergarten and elementary school classes.

This complements the already active teen and adult classes, all starting at 9:30 a.m. Sundays.

Nursery is available during the 11 o'clock worship service.
