Goldvein: Mount Holly gospel sing planned

The Friends of Monroe Park will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. tomorrow, May 15. Plans are being made for this year's Goldvein Jubilee and Car Show. More volunteers are always needed. Call Bob at (540) 752-5330 or come to the meeting if you would like to help.
Mount Holly Baptist Church is hosting an all-day gospel sing this Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The church is located at 6172 Sumerduck Road.
Groups performing include The Sheads Family, Bull Run Grass, Riverbend Bluegrass Gospel, The Kings Travellers, The Kirk Family, Sumerduck Run, and Owego Grass.
Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for a donation and will benefit the Mount Holly Building Fund. For more information, call (540) 439-1504.
The Marshall Ruritan Club has space available to rent to crafters and vendors for its craft show, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31. For more information, call (540) 592-9596.
