Unique Mother's Day service at Morrisville UMC

On Sunday, May 11, in celebration of Mother’s Day, pastor Hae Rin Lawson welcomes her mother, Bok Soon Hyeon, to the pulpit. Mrs. Hyeon will present a timely message in Korean and her daughter will translate.

Everyone's invited to help welcome pastor Hae Rin's parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Seong Yoon Hyeon, to Morrisville United Methodist Church.

The worship service starts at 9 a.m.

Community breakfast Saturday

Mount Horeb United Methodist Church will hold its monthly community breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, May 10.

Bring an appetite and enjoy eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits and much more.

They invite everyone to join them, neighbors meeting neighbors through Christ.

The church is located at 10867 Elk Run Road, Bristersburg, at the intersection of Elk Run Road (Route 806) and Courthouse Road.

Providence Baptist hosts annual Rally and Mother's Day

On May 11, Providence Baptist Church in Orlean will be having its annual Rally and Mother's Day. The Rev. Lindsey Green from Mount Morris Baptist Church in Hume will be the guest speaker.

Lunch will be served immediately following the morning service.

St. James Baptist prayer breakfast May 10

The church family of St. James Baptist Church in Bealeton invites everyone to join them for a prayer breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, when the Rev. Helen Green of Flow Ministry, Clinton, Md., will be the speaker.
