caused I-66 wreck:
An accident that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. last Monday, Feb. 4, on Interstate 66 near Markham, resulted in the death of Michael Koch, 57, of North Umberland, Pa.
Koch, who was driving a 2007 Volvo tractor trailer, was headed eastbound on I-66, near U.S. 17 when he ran off of the left side of the road and struck a tree. State police are still waiting for the medical examiner's report, but suspect that Kock may have fallen asleep.
The crash also resulted in a significant fuel spill, causing police to shut down the left lane of the interstate for about 15 hours, while a hazardous material clean-up was conducted.
