Police arrest two in Domino's robbery

On Tuesday, Jan 29, at approximately 6:34 p.m., members of the Warrenton Police Department and the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office Special Emergency Response Team reportedly arrested Ryan Eric Howard and a juvenile in connection with the Jan. 25 robbery of a Domino's pizza delivery person.

Based on their investigation, the officers executed a search warrant at at local motel, where they arrested Howard. The juvenile was located later that night at his father’s residence in Sumerduck.

The alleged robbery occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Jan. 25 on Norfolk Drive in Warrenton. Wearing bandannas as masks, 21 year-old Howard, and the 16-year-old male from Sumerduck allegedly robbed a 20-year-old male from Bealeton at gunpoint, as he delivered food for Domino’s Pizza.

Howard and the juvenile allegedly called Domino’s and ordered food to be delivered to an address on Norfolk Drive. According to police, they hid behind the cars in the driveway and waited for the delivery man to arrive. When he did, the two demanded the victim's wallet, keys, cellular phone, and the food. No one was injured.

Howard is charged with robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and is being held without bond. A court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 25 on the robbery charge and on March 3 on the contributing charge.

The juvenile is charged with robbery. He is currently being detained at the Loudoun Juvenile Detention Facility in Leesburg awaiting a Feb. 20 court date. The Commonwealth Attorneys’ office is seeking to have the juvenile's case transferred to the Circuit Court and have him tried as an adult.
