However, I have experienced some notable exceptions. I have been in three different Wegmans and each was staffed by people eager to provide assistance. And the Faang Thai Restaurant in the Warrenton Shopping Centre provides exceptional service and food.
Closer to home is a small Italian restaurant that goes so far beyond the norm that I feel compelled to tell anyone who will listen.
My wife and I eat there often as they make their own pizza dough and tomato sauce. It is about the only place I can get a slice of pizza that doesn’t leave me with chronic heartburn. I do not claim to be any kind of connoisseur, but I can state without reservation that they make the best pizza I have ever eaten.
I recently stopped in to ask if they would host a surprise Birthday party for my wife. The enthusiastic response to my request was pleasantly surprising.
The subsequent party, with more than 40 guests, was hosted professionally, and with great enthusiasm by the staff. The decorations were great. The food was delicious and served as if they were serving family. And the cost was very reasonable.
If you want a treat, go to Joe’s Italian Restaurant on Route 17, Bealeton, you will not be disappointed by the food, the service, or the prices.
