Equal rights

The Senate will be voting on SB 464. This bill will allow hunting on Sunday’s, but only on private land, which I do not agree with.

I feel that if the law is changed to allow hunting on Sunday’s for private land owners, it should also be allowed for the public.

This affects me personally because my family doesn’t own enough land for me to hunt on, so I have to hunt on public property.

Virginia is one of 11 states that prohibits hunting on Sundays.

Bill SB 464 should be expanded to allow public hunting on Sundays to give those who do not privately own land equal hunting opportunities.
