Warrenton's Taco Bell is looking for a new home farther south on Broadview Avenue.
A special use permit filed to the Town of Warrenton shows a plan for a new, 2,420 square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru lane at 238 Broadview Ave., the former site site of an Exxon station.
Franchise operator BurgerBusters's 20-year lease at its current 316 Lee Highway location expires April 13, according to the application.
Local engineering firm DRH Engineers PLC prepared the site plan, which includes a line of pine trees to screen the restaurant from the homes behind it. The application estimates that 390 to 425 customers will visit the Taco Bell daily.
The Town of Warrenton will hold a public hearing at its Feb. 20 meeting at 7 p.m. for the special permit necessary for the new Taco Bell.
