Warrenton firefighters hosting open house Oct. 14

The Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company invites the public to its annual open house at the fire station Sunday, Oct. 14.
The open house, at 167 West Shirley Ave., starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m. Guests can expect several events and activities, like fire Safety and prevention workshops; light refreshments and food, a Q-and-A session with staff, and safety materials.
Fire trucks and equipment will be on display for tour, and the firefighters will set up a moon bounce for children. The Air Ambulance Helicopter "AirCare-1" will put in an appearance around noon.
