The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will issue a veterans identification card.

The card allows veterans to take advantage of stores and restaurants offering discounts to veterans.

Veterans may apply in person at a DMV office, online at www.dmvnow.com, or by mail to P.O. Box 27412, Richmond, Va. 23269, or fax (804) 367-1112.
The veteran must show a valid Virginia drivers license and a copy of his DD214 or other official discharge document. There is a $10 fee.

For more information, visit www.VirginiaforVeterans.com and select the veterans ID card banner in the right column.
