VDOT work in Fauquier County prompts lane closures

OPAL - Virginia Department of Transportation workers continue to clear the debris from last week's storm and make progress on scheduled construction.
One of James Madison Highway's northbound lanes near the Opal Interchange project will close between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. between Monday, March 18 and Friday, March 22.
Tinpot Run Lane has closed for repairs to the bridge over Tinpot Run. VDOT workers expect the road to remain closed until they replace the bridge in November. VDOT asks motorists to use the posted detour.
