Prince William County police charged two Catlett men with hitting a Manassas man with a pipe on Sunday.

At 11:36AM, police answered a call for a fight in the 9400 block of Hensley Road in Manassas. The victim, a 29-year-old Manassas man, told police he had gotten into a fight with James Brian Price, 40, and Rodney Lee Jamerson, 47, both of 3134 Catlett Road in Catlett.

The man was struck in the upper body with a pipe, according to a release from the Prince William County Police Department. A helicopter flew him to a hospital for his injuries.

The three men all know each other and the fight started as a result of another fight between them on Saturday, police said.

Price and Jamerson fled before police arrived. Fauquier County sheriff's deputies found the men at their home in Catlett.

The two men have been charged with malicious wounding. A court date and bond information are not yet available.
