Remington man arrested for owning sawed-off shotgun

Tuesday, Jan. 29 | By Mark Grandstaff
Jeremy A. Engh, 41
Culpeper deputies arrested a Remington man Monday night on charges of owning a sawed-off shotgun and marijuana possession.

Deputies searched the home of Jeremy A. Engh, 41, on Saturday after a teenage boy told investigators he bought marijuana from Engh’s house.

Cpl. C.T. Hibbs spoke with the teen earlier in the day during a traffic stop, according to a release from the Culpeper County Sheriff's Office.

During the search, deputies found a sawed-off shotgun and marijuana residue in Engh’s home.

Deputies then charged him with possession of marijuana and unlawful possession or use of a sawed off shotgun. He was released on his own recognizance.
