Mountain Vista Governor’s School taking applications

Mountain Vista Governor's School offers college-level, project-based learning in science, mathematics, and humanties to academically gifted juniors and seniors.

The school is now accepting applications from sophomores and juniors in Fauquier County Public Schools. They are available from school guidance offices or by clicking here and then clicking "Announcements." The submission deadline is March 1.

The school is holding informational meetings at 7:00 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Coron Center at Lord Fairfax Community College's (LFCC) Middletown campus, and at 7:00 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Barn at LFCC's Warrenton campus. Inclement weather dates are Feb. 11 and Feb. 12 respectively.
