Liberty, Fauquier set to battle for district title in Bird Bowl

The Liberty Eagles and Fauquier Falcons will play tonight in the regular-season finale Bird Bowl game at 7 p.m. in Bealeton.
The winner will claim a share of the Evergreen District championship with Warren County. Liberty enters with a 5-4 record overall and a 2-1 record in the district, while Fauquier is 7-2 and 2-1.
Liberty has won nine consecutive Bird Bowls with Fauquier last winning in 2002.
