The Kettle Run High School's library sponsorship of a giving tree has become an annual event. Students and staff adorn a Christmas tree with new or not-very-used outerwear -- mittens, hats and gloves. The items will be donated to the Fauquier Food Coaltion today.

The goal this year is 74 pieces, up from 61 collected last year.
