On Wednesday afternoon, the Cub Scouts came to visit.
A group of Cub Scouts from Pack 1161, made up of children from Greenville and P. B. Smith Elementary Schools, stopped by The Fauquier Times-Democrat to learn about how the news is made.
From linotype machines to modern offset printing techniques, the scouts learned about the tools of the trade, and the means by which writers and editors worked to set down the first draft of history in Fauquier County.
