Auburn Middle School students question famous author

Students interacted with Newbery Medal winner author Avi via Skype, an online chat facility.A webcam allowed the students to see the writer. English teachers Uva Stanley, Caitlin Scott, Karen Yergin and Mindy McCallum selected students who have shown a special interest and talent in writing to participate.

The writer visited Auburn last spring, and most students heard him speak then.
