As Long As She Smiles
My two year old daughter RJ recently had her first classroom photo taken at daycare. This is a major milestone to me because I can remember my first classroom photo with our teacher seated off to the side. My front teeth were as uneven as my two ponytails, but fortunately I was dressed for the sole purpose of having my picture taken while at elementary school.
So, with this in mind and as years go by, I hope RJ will look back at her school photos and be happy with the way Mommy had styled her hair and dressed her…and that I’d be forgiven for the days I’d forgotten it was picture day. And if she should choose her own wardrobe for a photo session…which she already has done… I wouldn’t mind…as long as she smiles for the camera.
