Is Your Christmas Shopping Done Yet?
So, with only...hmmm....6 (SIX!?!) more shopping days left I have to ask that infamous question: "Is your shopping done yet?"
And let me be the first to answer that: "NO!"
Today, after my daughter's checkup, I will be heading (no doubt with hundreds of other holiday shoppers) to Fairfax County and beyond, to find those last-minute gifts.
This leads me to another question: Where did you do the bulk of your Christmas shopping? Here in Fauquier County? In the surrounding counties? Online?
I have done the bulk of my shopping in front of the giftcard kiosks that stand in Safeway and Walmart. However, for those extra-special gifts I found myself going online or outside of Warrenton. I am all for shopping locally, but for me there just seems to be more of a selection outside of Warrenton.
So how about you and your family? Where did you shop and why? Are you a die-hard "Shop Local" fan, or are you like me, someone who ventures into Prince William and Faifax Counties to shop, then comes home only to complain about the traffic getting there and the crowds once I got there?
