Prayer at the Purcellville Train Station
Revival at the Purcellville Train Station
Special Pray Purcellville - Tuesday March 24, 8-10 AM
Purcellville Train Station 200- 21 Street
Intercessors for America and Breakthrough Prayer ministries participate
Bringing unity to our communities through the power of prayer and blessing
All are invited to join local pastors and marketplace leaders in praying for the Town of Purcellville. The prayer gatherings routinely take place every Tuesday morning from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM at the Train Station in Purcellville to pray for elected leaders, public safety personnel, pastors, youth and schools, troubled marriages, crime, and other areas as the Spirit leads.
The call is for: government officials at local, county and state level, school boards, principles, teachers, mayors, police, emergency services, pastors, church boards, ministry leaders, intercessors, business, media, the arts, faith-based non-profit organizations and all who wish to pray for their city and be involved in community service projects that positively transform and impact our towns and cities.
This weekly event started in September and the last few weeks in particular, the group has sensed the powerful presence of the Lord and is so eager to communicate to the entire community. These pastors have a vision not only for their church, but for the community and are committed to working and praying together across denominations. The pastors and market place leaders consider themselves as elders of the city who meet at the city gate each week to pray for their city. They currently have a committed core group of about 12 people on average each week and have had up to 30 folks attending.
Instead of just pastors meeting for prayer, they now have invited believers in the marketplace to participate in praying for our town. The marketplace includes business, government, education, media, and the arts. Nationally known prayer groups, lntercessors for America and Breakthrough Prayer Ministry also are represented at this meeting.

Believe in the “unity among elders” to start this revival and the gathering will duplicate what was said of the early Church in Acts 4:32: “Now the multitude of those who believed was of one heart and one soul."
To date the focus has been praying for Purcellville and building relationships. They are now preparing to take the group to another level by including community service which gives legs to their prayers and within the next three months Purcellville will be hosting the first business luncheon to launch the Christian Business Forum.
The purpose of the March 24 two hour session is to have more people participate so that there is a greater ability to impact Purcellville and the other communities who are now participating in Loudoun Transformation prayer groups like Middleburg, Lucketts, Leesburg, Ashburn and hopefully Sterling. This writer is a resident of Sterling and I am praying for our Churches to unite in prayer.
The Special March 24 Pray Purcellville Agenda is as follows:
Opening prayer for the town
Review the DVD Elk River Story regarding the process of transformation
The status of transformation in other Northern Virginia communities
The role of the transformation forum nationally
A comprehensive discussion about the Transformation Plan which has three components: prayer, community service and Christian Business Forum (CBF)
Provide information about a powerful communication system in development which will empower prayer to connect cities, prayer groups and businesses anywhere to an unlimited audience.
