Pray for Our Schools

Dear Father God in Heaven:
Our Father in Heaven, we come before you as parents, guardians and loved ones of the children that attend our schools. Although our Christian faith is permitted in schools, we repent for not actively being engaged in the schools during times that do not affect the normal school time educational activities.
We welcome and invite a powerful move of God’s Presence in our schools. We the community shall commit to provide a canopy of prayer over every school and college in Fauquier County, Virginia. We dedicate each learning institution to the Lord.
We ask that you send your ministering spirits into our classrooms. Lord we ask you to set Angels as guardians to the entrances and breathe your refreshing Holy Spirit throughout the hallways and classrooms. Lord we ask for barriers to Your presence to be broken down in the name of Jesus. We bind the enemy’s influence upon our children at school. Father we invite your constant presence and influence back into our school buildings.
We speak blessings over the Principals and administrators; that they may have supernatural wisdom, inspiration, peace, patience and strength as they lead their group of teachers and children. We pray for blessings of abundant health and energy for the teachers and staff throughout these buildings. We ask Lord, that all the staff and teachers receive a special blessing of ingenuity, a refreshing of inspiration, wisdom, peace and overflowing satisfaction in their work. May they be restored, refreshed and strengthened daily in body, soul and spirit. May they be appreciated and respected by parents and students and their hearts filled with peace and joy.
We ask special blessings over each child that attends our schools. That you Lord may help keep them hungry for learning. That each child may know they are precious and important. 
We pray for overflowing health and protection for all our students. We pray for them to respect and give full attention to their teachers. We ask for clarity and focus for their minds and a hunger for learning and excellence both in academics and behavior. We ask that negative influences against them be revealed and that each child be given the personal courage to say no to offers of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, gangs, pornography and sex. We ask that these issues may not be kept secret in our schools. Lord, we ask that the presence of these influences be revealed to teachers and parents so they can be immediately thwarted. We claim a bright, blessed and prosperous future for all the children who attend our schools in Jesus name.
We come before you today and ask for blessings on the parents and guardians of these children; that their burdens be lightened. We ask for parents to be anointed with patience, wisdom, peace and joy. That they get inspired to be involved in teaching their children to have respect, compassion, honesty and pride in their choices; that parents are strengthened and committed to supporting their children’s future by supporting their schools.
We thank you Lord for your favor in our schools; for keeping the building, classrooms, hallways and grounds safe. We ask for protection from harm for everyone on our school grounds. We praise you and thank you Lord God for your mercy and forgiveness. We pray in Jesus name. Amen.
