Current Status of Transformation Loudoun

The Current Status of Transformation Loudoun

By Jack Stagman

Pastoral Liaison

You are invited to join local pastors and marketplace leaders in praying for our Towns, for our elected leaders, public safety personnel, our Pastors, our youth, our schools, troubled marriages, crime, and various other areas.  Our vision is to establish a united equal partnership between marketplace leaders and local ministers where our central focus is prayer and working in our different spheres of influence to impact society.

Currently groups meet weekly in Purcellville, Leesburg and Ashburn.

Prayer Purcellville: Every Tuesday at 8:00 to 9:00 am at the Purcellville Train Station.

About 12 folks are participating weekly to include 6 pastors, community business leaders and
reps from Intercessors for America and Breakthrough Prayer Ministries. Intercessors is a
non-profit Christian ministry founded in 1973 which serves the Church of Jesus Christ by encouraging effective prayer and fasting for the Church, our nation, and our leaders.  Breakthrough is a non-denominational, non-profit, evangelical ministry processing over a hundred thousand prayer requests annually.  These requests go to a network of nearly 4,000 intercessors who pray individually and faithfully for each request.  Their prayer family extends into nearly eighty countries worldwide.

The Purcellville group had the mayor attending and he requested prayer for a three year unresolved matter involving the new proposed high school in Purcellville and one week later the situation became resolved.  Eleven churches are currently represented in Purcellville.  From this group we are establishing www.prayforourschools.com to discuss bringing prayer back into our schools.  The group may also establish the first healing room in Loudoun County where people can come in without an appointment to pray for emotional and physical healing.

Jack Stagman at 540-338-0409, Jami or Dave Dittmeier at 540-338-5380 heads this group.

Pray Leesburg: Every Wednesday 8:00 to 9 am at Thomas Balch Library at 208 West Market Street.  Go in the back entrance and into the basement.  This group met for the first time on November 26 with 4 people attending.

Pastors Chip Giessler and Lyman Eddy head this group.

Pray Ashburn: Every Thursday from noon to 1 pm at the offices of Good Shepherd Alliance at 20684 Ashburn Road.

The Ashburn group has 6 to 8 pastors and layman participating weekly in the chapel/conference room at the Good Shepherd Alliance Center of Hope.  The group plans to initiate pray walks within the streets of Ashburn Village.

Pastors Jeff Good, Jeff Jacob and Clancy Nixon head this group.

About Jack Stagman

Jack Stagman’s mission when he arrived in the United States in 2001 was to help strengthen, inspire, and unite congregations across denominational and racial boundaries, which is exactly what he planned to do when he founded Loudoun Church Alliance in 2003.  Loudoun Church Alliance, part of a larger network called Virginia Church Alliance focuses on Loudoun County, VA, considered to be one of the fastest growing counties in the nation and an instrumental component of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.  Some church leaders believe transformation in the Body of Christ in Loudoun County will be a major catalyst in what they anticipate will lead to revival in the entire region.
